Ok, you are probably here because you want to have the best signature on your forum, right? Well, here's the tutorial that will show you how to make it, in Adobe Photoshop.

The Best Signature Tutorial Around Today

  1. Create a new document, 400 x 100

  2. Now, we are going to make a new pattern, all you have to do is make another document, this time 3 x 3 and zoom in as far as you can. Select the pencil tool and put one black pixel in the bottom left corner, one in top right, and one in the centre.

Then Click Edit -> Define Pattern and name this pattern \"Stripes\" Then press OK and you may close the image.

  3. Create a new layer, by pressing the \"Create a New Layer\" button in the layers window, if you cannot see that, press F7

Make sure your new layer is selected.

Select the rectangle tool, and make it fit exactly over the outline of our 400 x 100 signature, make sure it fits perfectly. You may use any color you want.

  4. When you have done this, your rectangle should be in a new layer. In the layers box, right click on this new layer and Press Blending options.

  5. In the Blending Options, press Pattern Overlay. In this box, select the pattern you have just created in the patterns window, and slide the opacity bar until you are happy with it, I have mine set at 10%, but it may vary depending on the color you have used.

There is no need to change the Scale slider.

  6. Fetch a font that you like, and create a new text field. The font color depends on the color you used as a background. I used a gray background, so I will use white text. You can try different colors later, but I recommend white, because it suits almost every color. Type whatever text you want, perhaps your username.

  7. Go on the internet, and find a graphic for your signature. I will use http://themes.belchfire.net/screenshots/DarthVader.jpg as an example.

  8. Create a new layer, and copy paste the image into it. Then resize it, and place it to the left hand side of the signature. With the image I have selected, I have chosen one with a background, so I will need to remove it. Select the lasso tool and go round the outline, trying to make it as neat as possible. Then finish off the loop, and in doing so creating an area that you want to delete. Delete it.

  9. Select the blur tool and blur the edges of your image if it is too rough for your liking. Then, in the layers window, select your new layer and turn the opacity down till you are happy with it. Mine is set at 37%

After this, you can add more image in the same way, or do anything you like, have a play around with different colors and fonts and images.
    Here is what I created:
